Estoi, located 6 miles from Faro, has two very interesting tourist attractions, in addition to the beauty of its small streets and people. They are the Palace and the Roman Ruins of Milreu.
The palace was completed in the early twentieth century, owned by the viscount of Estoi and is an architectural and landscape complex with about four hectares located right in the center of the village of Estoi, very close to its Mother Church. It is one of the best “Rococo” palaces in the Algarve. It consists of the main building in pink color, where the ceilings of its rooms stand out and surrounded by gardens decorated with excellent tile panels and several statues. It also has a secondary building that was intended for stables.

The Estoi Palace located in the center of the village of Estoi is quite easy to find. Estoi is located next to the N2 (the famous road that crosses Portugal from North to South inland), between Faro and São Brás. When you arrive at the church you can park in the parking lots you find. There is an entrance to the gardens next to the Church. Walking through the narrow streets of the village, next to its small municipal market, behind the church is another access to the Palace and Hotel.
