The best views are around Plaza del Azoguejo, where you can appreciate its scale, take photos and start exploring the old town.
Tip: Visit early in the morning or at sunset for beautiful light and fewer crowds.
Alcázar of Segovia — The Fairytale Castle
Rising dramatically on a rocky hill, at the end of the narrow streets of the old city centre is the Alcázar of Segovia looks like something straight out of a storybook — and it allegedly inspired Disney’s Cinderella Castle.
The fortress has served as a royal residence, military academy, and state prison, and still carries elements from Roman, Moorish and Christian periods.
Inside, you’ll find:

Climbing the Tower of John II is highly recommended if you’re up for a workout — the panoramic views are worth the effort.
